BLOOMINGTON – An employee scared off a would-be burglar at the Dunkin’ Donuts in the 2300 block of E. Oakland Ave. in Bloomington late Monday night.
Bloomington police Sgt. Henry Craft told WJBC News the suspect attempted to break some windows and when that attempt failed, he pried open a door.
An employee was still in the building at the time. That startled the suspect and he took off. No description has been released. No money was taken and no one was harmed.
