NORMAL – There are lots of visitors in Uptown Normal this weekend as family weekend is underway.
ISU Commencement and Special Events Coordinator Terri Haerr said students will be showing off the campus, their classrooms, and even their favorite hang outs.
“That might be their first chance that they have seen their student since they dropped them off,” said Haerr. “So it’s always nice for them to see how they have decorated their dorm or decorated their apartment and gotten back together and see that they are settled in and how they are adapting to campus life.”
Events include a home football game and a Legacy lunch honoring families for generational support of the University.
