Bond set for man accused of Constitution Trail robbery

Bond has been set at $20,000 for a Bloomington man who was arrested shortly after allegedly robbing a woman on Constitution Trail Monday morning.

Bloomington police say Loren Ford, 21, is accused of displaying a handgun to a 32-year-old woman on the trail and taking her phone after 9 a.m. Monday. Police spotted a man matching the suspect’s description a short time later in Franklin Park and arrested Ford.

Ford remains in the McLean County Jail. An arraignment has been scheduled for September 23.
