BLOOMINGTON – The father of a four year old in the Unit five school district said his trust is gone for both the district and First Student.
First Student is responsible for transporting the young child. John Dispennette said he’s worried.
“About other students being lost, not showing up for their stops, being 10 blocks away from their stops,” said Dispennette. “I mean, a four year old child on there, as a parent I’m scared to death. I’m like, ok, where’s my son?”
Dispennette described a day in the first week of school where his son was two hours late and he could not get any answers on the four year old’s location.
