NORMAL – It could be next week before a final report is out on the accident that caused the death of jogger Lanny Lobdell in Normal.
The 74-year-old was killed while jogging in the crosswalk at the intersection of Grandview Drive and Vernon Avenue.
Monica Mendoza, 21, was ticketed for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
She is an ISU student from Belvidere. Police said Lobdell was pinned under the car. A hearing is set for Sept, 27th in McLean County Court.
