BLOOMINGTON – It’s difficult for many who lost someone in Vietnam to afford the expense of a trip to Washington D.C.
That’s why Evergreen Memorial Cemetery and Cargill have partnered to bring the American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute Memorial Wall to the cemetery in Bloomington.
Cemetery manager Tina Crow spoke with WJBC’s Dan Swaney and said the wall brings out deep emotion in those who see it.
“It does, It does and actually it’s hard for me to watch them,” said Crow. “I mean it’s just really heartfelt to see how they react.”
The wall is 80-percent to scale of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. A welcome to the wall ceremony is being held Thursday night at six.
