NORMAL – Nearly $22,000 in merchandise has been stolen from the Von Maur store in Normal.
Normal Assistant Police Chief Eric Klingle says it happened around 4 a.m. Saturday.
“It appears as though unknown suspects threw a brick through a window at the store and stole what appears at this time to be clothing,” said Klingle, who added a similar break-in happened an hour earlier at the Von Maur store in Forsyth.
Surveillance video is being reviewed to try and identify the suspects.
