Bloomington Police seek help finding missing man

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating a missing person.

John M. Beck, 39 of Bloomington was reported missing on Thursday. Police say he has not had contact with family since Aug. 4.

Police say Beck is homeless, may be living on the streets, and frequents local shelters.

Beck is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches, 165 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and wears an occasional beard and mustache. John was last seen wearing black cargo shorts, black t-shirt with
Sebert Crose Benefit printed on it, red and white striped polo shirt, tan or gray Nike hat. John is known to carry a black book bag.

Anyone with information about Beck’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Bloomington Police Department at (309) 820-8888.
