BLOOMINGTON – A Tennessee couple is charged with child endangerment after police say they found two children in a storage tub.
The tub was found in the back of a U-haul by police after they reportedly heard a call for help during a routine traffic stop. The couple was pulled over Friday on Interstate 55 north of Bloomington. Reports say two women were also found in the cargo area of the moving truck. The male child is two and the female child is five. They are now in the custody of the Department of Children and Family services.
Samuel Watson, 44, and Lapiera Watson, 54, could face additional charges.
