Shots fired on Bloomington’s west side

BLOOMINGTON – Police are looking for information about an incident of shots bring fired into a storage shed on the city’s west side on Thursday night.

Bloomington police were called to the intersection of Mulberry and Mason streets at 7:55 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Police recovered multiple shell casings from the scene. Police say no one was injured.

Police don’t have any suspect information. Anyone with information is asked to call Bloomington Police at (309) 820-8888 or McLean County CrimeStoppers at (309) 828-1111.

This is at least the fifth incident of shots fired in the city this summer. Police don’t know if there’s any connection between these incidents.
