BLOOMINGTON – A local car wrap dealer is offering a way for you to show your support for police at no cost.
The owner of Central Image Printing prefers to be known as Roy Wraps, and he’ll provide a simple blue line for your vehicle’s back window for free.
“They’re about one inch thick and they go across your back window,” Roy told WJBC’s Susan Saunders. “Whoever is driving around can then see that you support your local law enforcement officers.”
Roy said he believed police were under-represented in recent protests across the country.
“We noticed that nobody was supporting police but they were certainly supporting a whole bunch of other movements,” he said, “so we took it upon ourselves to start giving away the thin blue lines.”
A Facebook page titled Back the Blue – Not for Profit has more information. Roy will install the blue lines on vehicles tonight from 6 until 8:30 at Fairbury City Hall.
