BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington aldermen will take a first look Monday night at the preliminary draft of the city’s five year capital improvement plan.
City Manager David Hales will provide a brief overview of the plan during a work session prior to the regular City Council meeting. Communications Manager Nora Dukowitz explained the plan currently has about $336 million worth of projects.
“Right now, about $59.9 million of those have funding secured and $276 million, approximately, do not have funding secured,” said Dukowitz. “It covers capital improvements in areas such as water, streets, sidewalks, storm water, sanitary sewer, parks, fire and facilities.”
Dukowitz added the council will be discussing the plan over the next several months.
