NORMAL – This fall, Illinois State University men’s basketball fans will be given a chance to join the team on an away game.
Anyone who purchases or renews season passes before July 29th will be eligible for the promotion. Director of Athletics at ISU Larry Lyons explained the promotion provides a fun opportunity for the fans.
“It’s going to be a fun game in a neat location for someone to go and do something different. If it’s a season-ticket holder it’s a way to say thank you. If it’s somebody new, same thing, thank you for investing in the Redbirds, said Lyons.
Lyons also explained how the promotion allows fans to get to know the team more personally.
“Hotel, tickets, meals, you’re going to experience what it’s like to travel with the team on a more intimate basis,” said Lyons.
