BLOOMINGTON – Police said they continue to investigate a large fight in which a 3-year-old was injured.

Bloomington police were called to Chuck E. Cheese’s on Saturday night for a large fight involving up to 40 people.

BPD spokeswoman Sara Mayer said when officers arrived shortly after 6 p.m. most of the people had left the area. Police said a 3-year-old was injured after a game was knocked over and struck them. Police said the child’s guardian refused treatment for the child on scene.

There were initial reports shots were fired in that area, but police said there was no evidence to substantiate the report.

No arrests have been made.

Illinois poet Vachel Lindsay…

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

Looking around our community, when we say employer, most will respond to State Farm, Country, or Illinois State University.   We too often forget those who are building our roads, serving our food, or our public employees. COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
