HEYWORTH- The man killed in a dirt bike accident in northern Heyworth has been identified.
McLean County Corner Kathy Davis says 22 year old Andrew Johnson died due to drowning after the accident Saturday afternoon. Davis says that Johnson was possibly unconscious due to blunt force trauma to the head when he was thrown into the water after the dirt bike crash.
Davis says that the coroners office was notified Saturday afternoon about the accident. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:15 PM.
Davis says that toxicology results are pending. The McLean County Coroners Office and the McLean County Sheriff’s Department continue to investigate.
