No arrests in weekend shooting in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – Police are investigating a shooting in which one man was wounded.

Bloomington Police were called to the 2000 block of East Empire Street shortly before midnight on Saturday for a reported shooting. Police say a 20-year-old male suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, but police say the man’s injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.

Police haven’t made any arrests but say they have recovered a handgun and spent shell casings from the scene.
