Woman dies in Tazewell County crash

MORTON – Police in Tazewell County are investigating a fatal crash that happened on an interstate 155 on-ramp on Wednesday.

Tazewell County Coroner Jeff Baldi says Renae Hanson, 34, of Washington died in the one-vehicle crash on the 155 on-ramp from South Main Street in Morton. The crash happened shortly before 8 p.m.

The crash is being investigated by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office along with Morton Fire and Rescue and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office.
