Man from Normal jailed on home invasion charges

BLOOMINGTON – A man from Normal has been jailed on charges he broke into an apartment and injured two people, including a young child.

Normal Police assistant chief Eric Klingele said Ronald Lilly, 23, was picked up on a warrant in Cook County and has been brought to McLean County to face charges of home invasion, domestic battery and child endangerment.

Lilly allegedly broke into an apartment in the same building where he lives at 710 E. Orlando Ave. on April 13. The two victims were hospitalized with minor injuries. Lilly faces a $100,000 bond according to jail records.
