STILLWATER, Okla. – Another honor has been taken away from Dennis Hastert.
The National Wresting Hall of Fame has revoked all honors for the former Speaker of the House. Hastert was accused of and admitted to sexual abuse of minors while a wrestling coach and teacher at Yorkville High School.
During Hastert’s sentencing for breaking federal banking rules in a hush money case, the judge called Hastert a serial child molester. Hastert was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
The Hall of Fame based in Oklahoma notes that this is the first time that it has had to revoke the award.
