Man from Normal arrested in 2015 shooting

NORMAL – Police have arrested a man who they say was involved in a shooting last Memorial Day.

Police have taken Timothy Herrington, 30, from Normal into custody for his role in a shooting in the 1300 block of Linden Street.

Police say shots were fired at an unoccupied house after a verbal dispute. One round struck the front door, though no one was injured.

After a lengthy investigation, police are seeking charges of felony charges of home invasion and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
