No solution between Connect Transit and Normal West

NORMAL – No solution has been found to restore bus service to Normal West High School by Connect Transit in proposed route changes.

Chief Operating Officer Isaac Thorne said those changes will be voted on May 3.

“We’re still in communication with Unit 5 and still discussing those options that we have,” said Thorne. There’s still open dialougue between us, but as of right now nothing has been figured out inthat area of town.”

Marketing Manager Melissa Chrisman said the goal of the changes is to speed up service.
