BLOOMINGTON – Central Illinois Arena Management will end their contract with the city of Bloomington March 31st.
City Manager David Hales told WJBC’s Scott Laughlin they are working everyday on finding a new group take control of the coliseum.
“Right now we are working on vetting, talking to a lot of different parties who have expressed and interest,” said Hales. “Telephone interviews, in-person interviews.
Hales says work is also happening everyday in finding companies that want the naming right for the Coliseum.
U.S. Cellular is choosing not to renew their 10 year contract.
