BLOOMINGTON – The Judicial Inquiry Board has released their decision regarding two McLean County Judges.
Judge Rebecca Foley is accused of hiding an affair with fellow Judge Scott Drazewski that started in December 2010. Drazewski is accused of judicial misconduct for failing to recuse himself from numerous cases involving Foley’s husband while the affair was going on. Both Foley and Drazewski have divorced from their spouses since the affair. Testimony was heard last October.
The board has censured Judge Foley and suspended Judge Drazewski without pay for four months starting May 1st.
Chief Judge Kevin Fitzgerald has no opinion on the decision saying he needs time to read and digest the decision.
