BLOOMINGTON – As the management contract expires for the U.S. Cellular Coliseum so are the naming right for the building.
U.S. Cellular Spokesperson Katie Frey says the 10 year contract is up.
“We’ve decided to not continue the naming rights agreement for the U.S. Cellular Coliseum,” said Frey When the current agreement ends on March 31st we will no longer have naming rights to the building.”
U.S. Cellular pulled service from the area in 2012, selling it’s towers to Sprint. U.S. Cellular was paying $175,000 per year for the naming rights.
