Mild weather in February appears to have resulted in a huge jump in activity at Bloomington golf courses and Miller Park Zoo.
The three Bloomington golf courses recorded 549 rounds in February, compared to three in February 2015. That’s an all-time high for the month.
More than 5,900 people visited Miller Park Zoo last month, breaking the previous February record by almost 1,400 or 67 percent.
