BLOOMINGTON – Green Top Grocery is about $250,000 short of its $1.5 million goal for the Owner Loan Campaign.
Outreach Manager Katie Novak said what happens next with the potential co-op is up to the Green Top Grocery board when it meets Tuesday night.
Novak said you can go online to GreenTopGrocery.com to become an owner or stop by their office at the Launch Pad at 315 E. Front St. in Bloomington.
The money raised goes towards construction of the grocery store at its proposed location of 921 E. Washington St. in Bloomington. Novak said she’s hopeful construction of the new grocery store will be finished by early next year.
