BLOOMINGTON – Normal Police are asking for the public’s help after an early Sunday morning shooting sent two people to the hospital.
Officials say they responded to reports of gunshots just after 2 a.m. Sunday at the 100 block of Flora Way. When they arrived, police found a 20-year-old male who had been shot and was then transported to Advocate Bromenn. Police later learned that another 20-year-old male had been transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound. Both injuries are considered serious but not life threatening.
Police are searching for a vehicle that fled the scene, described as a dark vehicle, possibly a black Pontiac. Anyone with more information is asked to contact Detective Darren Wolters at (309) 433-3415 or McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 828-1111.
