Bloomington man dies after being struck by train

BLOOMINGTON – A 37-year-old man died after being struck by a train early Monday morning.

McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said George Denison of Bloomington died of multiple blunt force injuries he sustained after being struck by a train near the intersection of Front Street and Allin Street around 12:44 a.m. Davis said toxicology results are pending and the incident is under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s office, Bloomington Police Department and Norfolk Southern Railroad.
