BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are investigating a robbery
It happened around 7:15 a.m. Saturday at the Freedom Gas Station on 1402 S. Main St. in Bloomington. Police say the knife-wielding suspect entered the business and demanded money. He’s described as a bearded black male, 20 to 30 years of age, gaps in his teeth, wearing dark clothing including a black hooded sweatshirt and skullcap.
The suspect fled the area on foot. The clerk was not injured during the robbery.
