UPDATE: Missing teen from Normal found safe

NORMAL – Police in Normal say a missing teenager has been found safe in Pekin.

Police had issued an alert on Thursday in their search for Brittney Burke, 16, who was reported missing at 2 a.m. Thursday. The Normal Police Department reported the girl was found safe at a home in Pekin at about 6 p.m. and was brought home.

Normal Police thanked Pekin Police for helping make sure Brittney was located and returned safely.
