BLOOMINGTON – An Iowa man faces up to seven years in prison after he was convicted of four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in McLean County.
Harlan Mohr, 78, was convicted on Friday after a week long trial in McLean County court. He molested four victims between 2004 and 2009. All of the victims were under the age of 18.
“Sex abuse cases are some of the most difficult cases there are to prove,” McLean County State’s Attorney Jason Chambers said. “Jake Harlow was the Assistant State’s Attorney assigned to prosecute the case and the guilty verdicts he secured on all four counts shows how relentless he is in protecting the victims of those crimes.”
The jury deliberated for five hours before returning the guilty verdict.
