BLOOMINGTON – A local convenience store was among the dozens of businesses in Illinois which sold winning Powerball tickets in the record $1.6 billion drawing this week.
Six Points Fast Stop on Six Points Road in Bloomington sold a ticket worth $50,000. The store gets a $500 bonus.
There were 37 stores in Illinois which had $50,000 winners, six 100-thousand dollar winners and two $1 million tickets – one at the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg and one at a Citgo Food Mart in Glenview.
There were three grand prize winners – in California, Florida and Tennessee.
