CHICAGO – Former McLean County Board Chairman Matt Sorensen Faced a Chicago judge Wednesday and pleaded not guilty.
Sorensen is charged with five counts of wire fraud. He faces 20 years on each count. He would also be forced to pay more than 400-thousand dollars restitution. The hearing was very short.
Sorensen had his rights explained to him and was ordered to be back in court February 11th for a status hearing.
