IDES to close local office in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – The Illinois Department of Employment Security is closing three of its local offices, including one in Bloomington.

The IDES said in a press release that the closures will help the department comply with the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act. They will also save the IDES about $2 million.

The closures will happen in the spring.
