BLOOMINGTON – Jury selection is set to begin Monday morning for the trial of a man from Normal charged with murder.
Tracy Newson, 49, is accused of killing Carlton Jordan, 47, in November 2014 after an argument regarding Newson’s alleged advances towards Jordan’s significant other.
Jordan was shot in the chest, allegedly by Newson, outside Jordan’s apartment at 703 Turnberry Drive.
Currently, Newson is being held in the McLean County Jail on $4 million bond.
