ISU hoops, NFL playoffs on WJBC

Illinois State goes for its fourth straight Missouri Valley Conference victory without a loss today when it travels to Indiana State.

Coverage on WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM begins at noon with the pregame show. Tip-off is at 1 o’clock between the 9-7 Redbirds and the 8-7 Sycamores. Indiana State is 2-1 in league play.

NFL playoff games also are on WJBC 1230 AM beginning at 4 p.m. with the Kansas City at Houston game followed by the Pittsburgh at Cincinnati contest.

Meanwhile on your computer or smartphone at wjbc.com, Illinois Wesleyan’s men’s basketball team plays host to Carthage at 7 p.m. Both teams are 1-1 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play and 7-6 overall.

And, the Bloomington Thunder takes the ice at 6:15 p.m. for a road game in Muskegon, Mich.
