LEXINGTON – Rescue crews helped save two men who were stranded in the Mackinaw River near Lexington on Tuesday afternoon after their canoe had capsized.
Fire officials say the men had been in the water for about two hours. The two men were treated at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
Crews from Lexington, Bloomington Hudson and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Hudson Dive team who brought the men to shore.
