BLOOMINGTON – Home Sweet Home Ministries continues its Christmas Day meal tradition Friday.
Communications Coordinator Chyanne Corrigan said this is what Christmas is about.
“Sharing hope with one another and coming together,” said Corrigan. “That’s just, kind of, what we do on Christmas Day.”
The organization expected to serve about 500 meals with the help of 180 volunteers.
“That’s what always amazes me every year, like, how many people are just so willing to help out,” Corrigan said.
Friday’s meals will make up some of the close to 110,000 meals Home Sweet Home has served during 2015. The group is always taking donations, which can be made at www.hshministries.org.
