BLOOMINGTON – U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Watseka) is calling out Donald Trump, and is not mincing words.
Kinzinger said the Republican presidential candidate is lying when claiming that the U.S. can deport millions of illegal aliens.
“Trump said we can deport 15 million people who are here illegally in the next two years,” the Republican congressman told WJBC’s Scott Laughlin. “It is physically impossible. Not only will the courts not allow it, we don’t have the logistics to do it. Donald Trump knows it but he’s going to say it anyway.”
Kinzinger also said that Trump is over-simplifying foreign policy and will make statements just to gain support without regard to their accuracy.
