Bloomington man arrested for possessing over a pound of pot

BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has been arrested on charges of selling marijuana.

Normal Police said Johnathon Gadberry, 32, was arrested Tuesday with over a pound of marijuana worth more than $4,000 and an additional $3,000 in cash.

Police said in a statement that the arrest came after a search warrant was executed by the Normal Police Department’s Vice Crimes Unit in the 900 block of N. Main Street in Bloomington.The investigation revolved around the manufacture and distribution of marijuana.

Gadberry is currently being held at the McLean County Jail.
