BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man has pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he sexually assaulted a minor.
Malik Young, 21, pleaded not guilty to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault with a victim under the age of 13 in court Friday. Police say the alleged abuse started last summer.
The Class X felony charges carry a potential prison sentence of up to 30 years each. Young’s next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 20.
Young is on probation for an unrelated residential burglary charge.
