The St. Louis Cardinals’ have another chance to wrap up a National League Central division crown following Tuesday night’s rainout.
The Cardinals and Pirates will play a day-night doubleheader at PNC Park in Pittsburgh. The Cardinals magic number to win the NL Central is two over the Bucs.
Michael Wacha (17-6) gets the start for St. Louis while the Pirates move up ace Gerrit Cole (18-8) who was originally scheduled to pitch in Wednesday night’s game. Cardinals’ lefthander Tyler Lyons (2-1) will go in the nightcap against righty Charlie Morton (9-8).
