CHICAGO – Hearing dates have been set for two McLean County judges accused of having an affair that influenced their judicial conduct.

The hearings are set for Oct. 26-27 at the Illinois Supreme Court building in Chicago for accusations filed against Judges Scott Drazewski and Rebecca Foley.

Drazewski is accused of failing to recuse himself from several cases involving attorney Joe Foley, who was then the husband of Rebecca Foley. Foley is accused of knowing that Drazewski was willingly violating the rules of judicial conduct and not saying anything. Both have denied any wrongdoing.

The affair in question happened between December 2010 and February 2011. Both Foley and Drazewski have divorced from their spouses since then.

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
