Former El Paso public works director pleads guilty to official misconduct

EL PASO – The former public works director of El Paso has pleaded guilty to official misconduct charges.

Robert Hunsinger, 63, was accused of using public funds to purchase equipment that wasn’t needed.

He was sentenced to two and a half years of conditional discharge and he’ll also have to pay a $1,000 fine.
