TOWANDA – A section of Route 66 near Towanda remains closed Tuesday due to a sinkhole which has made the road unstable.
The sinkhole was found by State Police Friday. The section of Route 66 closed is between 2050 North and 2150 East roads.
Drivers are being detoured onto 2150 East to 2000 North to Jefferson Street in Towanda.
