NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Saints have waived former Illinois State long snapper Chris Highland.
KPEL radio in Lafayette reported Highland was waived on Sunday. Highland signed with the team in late July. He made his NFL debut in the Saints preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Highland was a two-time All-American during his time with the Redbirds.
