BLOOMINGTON – The St. Louis Cardinals go for the sweep of their three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium tonight at 6:15 on WJBC 1230 AM. The pregame show starts at 6:05.
The Cardinals also are looking to extend their National League Central Division lead to eight games over the Pirates and win their seventh game in the last 10.
Lance Lynn gets the start for St. Louis and takes a 7-6 record to the mound. Lynn, who has a 3.13 earned run average, will be opposed by Francisco Liriano. The Pittsburgh starter has a 9-6 mark with a 2.76 earned run average.
