URBANA – The former chancellor for the University of Illinois will not be getting a bonus.
Phyllis Wise resigned last week after numerous scandals were reported. One of those scandals involved using her private email to allegedly keep the information from the public. The Governor’s voice was just one calling for the $400,000 not to be awarded. Reports from the university said he had worked out an agreement to receive that bonus.
The university is being sued by former athletes for poor treatment and taking back an offer of employment extended to a professor.
