Livingston County Sheriff’s police say one man is dead and another man is in custody after a shooting yesterday afternoon near Long Point.
Sheriff’s police from Livingston and LaSalle counties along with officers from Pontiac and Streator and the hostage negotiations team from Bloomington police responded at about 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Police call the incident a domestic dispute but have not released any other details, including the identities of either man, but say they are not seeking any other suspects.
