Dolores J. “Dee” Barker, age 79, of Normal, passed away on June 28 at her residence, with her family by her side.
The service celebrating her life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the memorial home on Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 454, 1006 E Lincoln St, Bloomington 61701.
Dolores was born on Dec. 5, 1935, in Rogersville, Tenn. to Kyle and Odell Clamon Fletcher. She married Charles H. Barker, on Jan 9, 1953, in Virginia.
They had two daughters, Gloria (John Hanely) of Ohio, and Sharon (Marty Bell) of Bloomington; five Grandchildren, Jessica Hanely of Bloomington, Sara (Jimmy Jefferies) of Ohio, Brandon (Amber) Burmaster of Normal, Brody (Ashley) Burmaster of North Carolina, Jason (Jessica) Hanely of Ohio; and three Great Grandchildren, Jordan Hanely of Ohio, Ashley Hanely of Normal, Dylan Burmaster of Normal.
She was sister to Sonny (Charlcie) Fletcher, Alice (John Hamblen), Sandra (Walt Williams), Doug (Connie) Fletcher and Eunice (Steve Jones) all of Tennessee. She also had a friend considered as family, Judi Hughes of Normal.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Gloria, and son-in-law John Hanely.

Dustin Walter
Dustin Luke Walter, 16, Chatsworth, died at 4:57 p.m. Aug. 4 as a result of an automobile accident at Route 116 and 3100 East Road, Sullivan Twp. Livingston County.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Living Word Church, Roberts with Pastor Doug Lee officiating. Burial will be in Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:30-10:15 am Saturday at the church. The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of their choice.
Dustin was born Nov. 11, 1998 in Gibson City the son of Daniel L. and Patti J. Broadus Walter. They survive in Chatsworth.
Other survivors include one brother, Travis (Kate) Walter, Cullom, two sisters, Dana Walter, Colfax, Heather Walter, Chatsworth, paternal grandparents, Richard & Colleen Walter, Fairbury, maternal grandmother, Sandy Sisco, Danville, Iowa, four nephews Dylan, Jack, Pierce & Lyric Borders, and his young four legged friend, Larry.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jerry Broadus.
Dustin was about to begin his sophomore year at Prairie Central high school. He enjoyed 4-wheeling with his friends and spending time with family. His parents were proud to say he was a hard working young man who held jobs at both Double S Farms and Forrest Farms.
